Tengable is a bio-convergence medical device company developing miniaturized implants to restore sensation. Tengable’s devices harness kinetic energy from the body’s natural movements to generate an electrical charge, eliminating the need for an external power source.
Tengable is developing a new class of sensation restoration devices that are fully implantable, do not require an external power source, and harvest kinetic energy from the body’s natural movements to generate an electrical charge.

The company was founded in 2022 by Dr. Amir Arami, chair of the hand surgery department at Sheba, and Professor Ben Maoz of the biomedical engineering faculty at Tel Aviv University to address the large unmet need for sensation restoration.
